Major responsibilities of the Clinical Program Manager include:

  • Present, implement and monitor performance of clinical programs and formulary management interventions.
  • Participate in annual client review of pharmacy benefit performance.
  • Consult on initial and ongoing drug coverage plan design.
  • Monitor and act upon emerging therapeutic issues.
  • Participate in regular reviews with account management teams and consult on clinical strategy based on an assessment of their population needs.
